Hi all, George martin is the author of A song of ice and fire series. My friends say it is amazing, but the only one on Bookshare or Webbraile or Bard is the fourth book. Anyone know where else I can look for them? I think audible has them but I have to check. Anyone else read them?
Please respond.
Best regards,
Matthew

Hi, I've read all and their great, but can be a bit long. Let me ask you this...are you a member of NLS in the U.S. or if you're Okay, you're in Mass so you should be a member of which ever library for the blind serves that area. They carry books 1 through 4 on cassette. If you have a NLS digital player and sign up for the BARD website then you can download books onto a standard USB thumb drive and keep them and listen to them over and over for free. If you don't have a digital player, you can get one free from your local olibrary and I can help you with downloading if you need it.
Dance of Dragons is number 5 in the series, but I haven't read it yet and yes, you do need to start with Game of Thrones, book 1, to get what's going on since they can be sort of involved.
Good luck.

Thanks Chincilac, I searched for book 1 on Bard, but I thought it didn't have it. I'l get them ASAP. My math teacher was the one who reccomended them, and he says that Dance of dragons is very good. This series has been so popular, that they made a game of thrones board game. I can't say if it's good or not since I haven't played it yet. Thanks for all the help.

No problem and remember that the nls bard site seems to be doing the series in digital format out of order, so if you can't find one of the books, just call your branch and ask about the cassette version cause I know all are on that format. Except of dance of dragons which I hope they get soon!
